Honestly, you would not believe how excited I am to offer my first workshop. It’s the first of many to come and I just know that I am on the right path because the workshop is almost booked before the official launch. On July 4, I and a small group of women will convene upon a rustic cottage in the country and spend the day with our pens and journals and for the tech-savvy among us, laptops. There will be laughing, crying, reflecting, discovering of truths, copious cups of tea and coffee, cake, and a light meal.
The workshop is a hands-on, intimate sort of affair on personal storytelling, writing to heal, and deep soul journaling. At the end of the workshop, participants will not just understand how to approach this sort of writing but they will walk away with the knowledge and tools on how to make it a fruitful habit in their lives.
Before signing up you should know that this is not a professional or academic writing workshop. There are no textbooks, boring powerpoints, sleep-inducing spreadsheets, or uber professional looking speakers. Think more along the lines of personal development. Phew! Yes, you can relax now. Participants are asked to come to the workshop with:
- Pens and a journal. or a notebook, something that will feel comfortable writing in and you can use it as part of regular writing practice. Highlighters, index cards, and colored pens are good if you have them on hand. If not, that’s cool. I always keep these stocked. a laptop is cool too if that is your preference.
- A good attitude and an open mind. Simply because that’s the best way to approach this sort of workshop. and it’s always a good thing to have, too.
- comfortable clothing. Think sweat and yoga pants, flowy skirts, summer dresses, breathable wear, flip flops. This isn’t your PWU or national stadium type of event location. It’s more intimate and I want you to relax and feel comfortable. the atmosphere is informal, light, and friendly. You can even ditch the makeup if you want 🙂
- A light meal and refreshments will be provided. wine too, for toasting the occasion when we are done, of course!
Only 2 spots are left and registration ends on June 30. The workshop fee is $30 and includes a PDF guide, meal, refreshments, the fellowship of other women, sage advice, and a new practice. Quite a steal, huh? Payment can be made on the day of the workshop but you must confirm your attendance first. To participate, you must agree to complete an assessment/review form on completion of the workshop. No need to add your name. I only just need the feedback. Grab your space by completing the form below.
PS: to the creatives, entrepreneurs, artists, and bloggers that will be attending, please walk with your business card, a flyer or prepare an elevator speech on what you do for the get to know each other segment during our breaks.
Registration Closed. Forms and Links Removed.

It was a breath of fresh air! I enjoyed the sessions; there were moments I felt like crying and moments of laughter. I feel empowered and ready to redefine my name and ready to birth something new. My healing has begun!
