Cancer sucks. Let’s do what we can to help fight this disease and increase awareness and raise money, too.
Yesterday,VP of Communications for Women in Medicine at St. George’s University and I met to do some brainstorming on how to promote the upcoming on April 19. This will be the third year of the event at the University and the hope is to make it bigger and better. All proceeds will go directly to the Grenada Cancer Society in an effort to further female reproductive cancer diagnostics and treatments. Definitely a worthy cause.
Sign up for the run, share the post around and do you part to help raise funds and spread awareness. You can get more information on the events page on Facebook. You can also inbox Ophelia Tran, VP of Communications for Women for more details.
My partner in crime NappyBella and I will be running. Together, we can all make a difference. We hope to see you there too 🙂
