Thank you so much to all who attended this Tuesday’s Cocktails & Conversations. Remember we never got to go into the story part of the workshop because we spent so much time talking about men, sex and intimacy so I promised a makeup session? Okay – so let’s do this!
After looking at my planner I see Saturday, 22 October as the best day to do the session Journaling & the Power Of Our Stories. My journaling and story coaching workshops tend to be very intimate, powerful and ground-breaking for attendees. When I discovered journaling, it saved me. And when I coupled that with the willingness to embrace my stories and all of me, even the parts I’d rather not embrace, my life changed dramatically. I didn’t want it to stop there. I wanted to learn more about journaling and the therapeutic power of words and started studying the work of researchers and psychologists who are pioneers in the field of therapeutic writing. I also wanted to share what I was learning in a soulful, practical and fun ways and started doing workshops and story coaching with women.
Last August I did my first journaling workshop and boy, did we have a lovely time together. Here are some kind words from women who have attended my workshops or done story coaching with me. You may also find this post on the blog on my journey to story coaching and journaling interesting.
As promised, the attendees of September’s Cocktails & Conversations don’t pay to attend this workshop. It will be held at GARP – The Grenada Association of Retired Persons, which is located on the Kirani James Blvd. If you’d like to bring a friend (and I think you should 🙂 ) it will cost them EC $25.
The workshop will run from 4PM – 6PM and is sponsored by Renee Scentsationz (makers of some ah-may-zing scented candles). This is going to be a casual yet, soulful and intimate affair – think candles, ambient music, wine, light snacks, and writing from the heart. To register, please visit this page or send an email to email@example.com to say you will be attending. Space is limited so register soon using the form at the bottom of this page.
Cheers! And see you soon.
