Introducing the Story Midwife

Introducing the Story Midwife

Of all the work I do with women, I think I’m most passionate about helping women with their story. Story is important – the things we tell and believe of ourselves really do impact our reality. I found the power of story and journaling during my time in ab abusive relationship. Addressing the things I carried within on paper, facing my stories was a life changing move for me.

I’m deeply believe that writing can be highly therapeutic. I’ve seen it work in my life and the life of others. As a Story Midwife, I dive deep into my passion of deep soul writing, a form of journaling that’s more than letting off steam or reflecting on your day but goes way beyond. Deep soul writing is about writing about yourself, sometimes to yourself and your Inner Voice about your life, your here, now and future. And it is always done in a spirit of openness, truth and authenticity. It’s about being real about yourself and exposing all the things you carry deep within on paper with a view to assessing where you are and moving forward to become the best version of yourself, the true you that you were created to be. Once you write from that place, you eventually access the deep, rich and life changing experience of encountering your Inner Voice. This Inner Voice comes with clarity, wisdom, guidance, empowerment and brings us to a greater sense of ourselves and the world around us.

I’ve always been a writer and used to engaged in journaling on an ad hoc basis. Then I stumbled into this deeper, heart/soul centered form of writing during an abusive marriage. Without my pen and journal, I can honestly say I don’t know where I would be. Deep soul writing coupled with personal story writing, saved me and it changed me forever and I’m confident it can do the same for you. You can visit the ‘work with me’ if you’d like to work with me. Feel free to get in touch as well.

Remember, your story matters. Give it an outlet for expression.
