Fear of failure is a great paralysis. So many times we want to do something or explore an idea but get sticking with the thought, what if I fail or what if it sucks. Failure is possible. Sucking also very possible but why is it that it seems like the negative potential of a situation tends to overshadow the positivity and goodness that can happen? I’ve adopted a new mantra –
‘nothing ventured, nothing gained’ – said an very wise dude/dudette
In short, it means that I don’t know and won’t know the potential of a situation until I really give it a go. It could bomb, but it could also turn out well. And even if it bombs, there are lessons to be extracted. So no experience is truly a loss if you are willing to adapt or learn.
What if you fly?
