Earlier this year, I dealt with a VA who 1) regularly took up to a week to reply to emails and 2) was unavailable by telephone. Beyond bizarre.
I agree in an real office people expect a prompt reply or at least an acknowledgement, so standards shouldn’t slip in the virtual world
